Learning Center Affiliate Program
Benefits of joining the NTA Learning Center Affiliate Program
The NTA, along with Fielding Graduate University, School of Educational Leadership and Change and Crossroads of Learning has adapted and expanded our acclaimed face to face training and certification activities to an on-line format via the “Tutoring Foundations” program. This program is now available in a three-module Learning Center Edition exclusively for academic and commercial learning center affiliates. This program increases flexibility for students and program administrators and also shortens training schedules, time and costs while developing critical tutoring skills for professional and peer tutors, as well as those who supervise or support them.
“Tutoring Foundations” Description:
The program is self-paced, self-scheduled, and estimated to require approximately 15 to 20 learner hours for each of the three Learning Center Edition modules. Learners may begin working minutes after on-line registration. Each learner is supervised by an NTA Master Tutor who reviews and responds to course work. Affiliate learning centers qualify learners for up to a 15% volume price reduction based on anticipated annual enrollments, with registration fees as low as $135 per module or $297 for the entire series, payable by either the learning center or the learner. For more information please visit Crossroads of Learning.
CEUs:
Upon successful completion, learners are qualified to receive continuing education units (CEUs) granted from Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, California, two for each module, or six for the entire curriculum. CEUs ay be used by teachers and administrative staff to maintain credentials or satisfy professional development requirements. A $60 processing fee per application applies and a bachelors degree or above is required. More information on CEUs is available at 800.340.1099, www.fielding.edu, admission@fielding.edu.
